Setting a non-default ssh port for backup

I was wondering how to set up a non-default (other than 22) port for backups on to an outside server??

The 'add a new backup schedule' dos not allow me to set up a custom port!

Should I go where Virtualmin stores backup config files (where does it store anyway) and edit port number there?

OR just add the custom port in 'SSH Server' after server name with a colon?

OR is there a way/plan to add this feature in future release?

I know the other option is to use FTP; but I don't want to use FTP

Howdy -- if you have a remote server using a custom port, you can access it by specifying a hostname in the Virtualmin backups such as this:

my_backup_server.com:2222

Let us know if that does the trick for you!

Yes, it is working.

Thanks Eric, again.
