One of our resellers has a wildcard certificate for his domain. He sells only subdomains for this domain. It would be great if we can configure a default certificate for a server template.
Thnx in advance!

You can't set a default SSL cert for a template ... but you could give this reseller his own IP address, which all his domains will be created on. If the first domain on that IP has an SSL cert with a wildcard name, Virtualmin will use the same cert for all additional domains on the IP.

I'am probably doing something wrong then, cause I'd already tried that.
I have one domain, configured outside virtualmin. This is a subdomain of my resellers domain and using the same wildcard certificate.

Never mind, found it! Apparently the first domain for that IP was using an old non-wildcard certificate. It works as expected now, thnx for pointing me into the right direction.
