Just renewed my license, but don't want to upgrade

Hello,
This morning I logged on to my Virtualmin environment and I got a message saying that my license was expired. Being a good customer I immediately bought a renewal of the license. But when I want in install that renewal I get a message that the installation is stable on a fresh OS and that I get into troubles if I have a running system.
So, I cancelled the installation.
But I renewed my license. And I want that renewal made known in my system.

I'm confused.
