installed SSL cert; now locked out of WebMin/VirtualMin control panel & virtual domain site down

first-time admin of remote "self-managed" RHEL5 box.
very grateful for VirtualMin Pro.

bought a multi-domain Deluxe SSL cert from GoDaddy. followed tips in forum here to install it on 3 virtual domains, then DoveCot, Postfix and ProFTPd.

then I followed the "add it to WebMin" step. disaster!

I now cannot access the command interface.

attempting to browse to the control panel https:// address and port yields this message in FireFox 3:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 72.51.35.240:25682.

Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

(Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."

browsing to the virtual domain plain site at http://72.51.35.240/ gets a site-unavailable message.

I can trigger a remote wipe-out of the whole box; and have a recent backup that I can restore to -- but if I can avoid resorting to such a blunderbuss approach, I'd much rather.

best,

Adrian
