I've recently been shopping for a new VPS provider and found a couple with more attractive offerings and intend to relocate my setup. However, this transition will involve a change of distro. I was wondering if it were possible to apply for a temporary license (or re-use the existing license) during the transition period so I can make sure the new setup is fully operational before closing the old setup and pointing the dns elsewhere. I know setting up the gpl version will give me some indication of the more obvious problems but I've found in the past that the Pro version is quite unique in many ways and can be an entirely different beast.
(Also, sorry I couldn't follow up with my previous ticket regarding the problem I encountered when updating. It would have involved downgrading several system packages to get the setup back to how it was when the problem was encountered, and I didn't want to do that on a live system..)
