problems with reading mail from within virtualmin (qmail)

i have a problem with a virtualmin+qmail+vpopmail setup.
Usually a domain owner can go to mail and ftp users > click on a user > go to email settings then click on "/home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/user/Maildir" and read that user's mail. Some clients find that feature very useful.
Problem appears with domains that vpopmail has created in /home/vpopmail/domains/0 (see FS#3572), in such cases the owner can no longer read a user's mail from virtualmin. Is there any quick work-around for this, any files to edit?
