My registrar offers "custom nameserver registration" where it defines ns#. or dns#.
I have registered ns1.nxnet.us and ns2.nxnet.us - one is a primary DNS server and the other is a cluster secondary DNS server and they for me they resolve at ns1.nxnet.us and ns2.nxnet.us.
I have many domains including nxnet.us using those nameservers and they all work for me and the majority of my clients/their clients, but a lot of people are still unable to resolve the domains! It has been over 48 hour since the nameservers were defined and everything was set up (they were set up Sunday night I believe) but there are people having domain name resolving issues!
Why aren't they resolving for some users? Do I need to link my DNS to some larger cluster or something? How can I make this work better?
