Add a "Active" Scheduled Backup option

So you don't have to delete them and then recreate them later - which is occasionally needed. Some of these are complex to set up with multiple destinations/logins/etc., and then waiting a long time to see if the backup worked and made it to each destination is time consuming. If it was set up like the webmin cronjobs where you can make them active/inactive from that same interface that would be a big help and doesn't seem like it would be very hard to implement.

As always, thanks for the consideration Jaime.

Also, a "Clone" feature on the main Scheduled Backup page would be handy, as some backups just need a few things altered like maybe one only needs the database backed up instead of all files. Where it would just create a new one based off an existing one (duh) and you can tweak it and save it.

Hi Steve -- I'll let Jamie comment on your Clone Backup idea, but regarding disabling a backup -- that's actually something you can do now.

If you go into the Scheduled Backup, and click the "Schedule and reporting" section, you can click "Disabled" for the "Scheduled backup time".

Ah, thanks. That will be handy for the future and don't know why I didn't notice that. I think it would still be nice if you could do it from the main backup page so you could disable/enable in bulk using the same checkboxes used to delete. That's how it's done on the Cron jobs page (delete/disable/enable buttons). Also a bit more intuitive imo.

That's a good suggestion .. I will add buttons to enable or disable multiple scheduled backups in the next Virtualmin release.

Awesome, thanks Jaime! Do you have an opinion about the "clone" feature from post #1?

A button to clone a backup is also a good idea - I'll add that.
