One of my clients with a GPL license on his machine tells me he can't get any ftp accounts to work except the first one added when creating a new virtual server. I tried and they don't work for me either. But then I can count on one had the number of times I have had to add ftp users. We could be just doing it wrong. Operating system CentOS Linux 5.8 Webmin version 1.620 Virtualmin version 3.98.gpl GPL
I am under Virtualmin/Users and in the upper right corner adding user via the hot link "Add a website FTP access user." Is there any hints on what we might be doing wrong?

Howdy -- take a look in the last section of the documentation here, with the title "FTP Service Isn't working" -- I suspect the fix mentioned here will correct the problem you're seeing:

Yes, that fixed it. I had asked the admin to run that and thought he did but apparently he did not take my suggestion. I should have checked on him. I have a few other servers I run that on after any reboot. Thanks!
I have one other none related issue I hope I can ask you about. The WordPress 2Mb limit. I have tried putting in some stuff in the .htaccess which did nothing. Would a local php.ini file be read? I could try instead.

You can make changes to the PHP configuration by editing the php.ini file in $HOME/etc/php.ini.
