Howdy -- it looks like your using Virtualmin GPL, the Support area here is for Virtualmin Pro users.

My recommendation would be to open up a new Forum thread, and in that, say everything you mentioned above, along with the following --

  1. When did this problem start happening? Did anything change around that time?

  2. What error are you getting? Do the Apache error logs in $HOME/logs/error_log show any additional details?

  3. Can you access MySQL from the command line? For example, if you run this command, can you log in as your root user:

mysql -u root -p

  1. Also, does it help to restart MySQL? You can do that with this command: /etc/init.d/mysql restart

We monitor the forums, along with lots of wonderful folks from the community -- if you answer those questions over in the forums, we'll give you a hand figuring out what's wrong there. Thanks!

Hi thanks for this, but for some reason i can access server in terminal is their another way of doing it in the cpanel?

You can access the command line of your server using an SSH client such as Putty.

hi server will not let me in on putty but will let me login throw a web browser

Okay... open up a thread in the forums, and we'll give you a hand over there :-)
