Title says most of my feature suggestion. Idea would be to include it in the server templates, or just as a switch per vserver.
I have some vservers where the server owner is the "sole controller" of email accounts and they should get a notice about each account being created.
Then I have vservers where the email users' accounts should stay "secret" from the vserver owner, i.e. they should not get an email with the password and stuff.
Furthermore, I'm a bit stumped what's the use of sending the "new email account created" mail to the mailbox of the newly created user. :) Without knowing the account details, they can't fetch the mail. Is it just meant for cases where a forward is in place?

Normally the new mailbox email is sent to an external address, like an existing account owned by the user.
Can mailbox details really be kept secret from the domain owner? Typically the have access to see and change passwords and access email.

Mmmh yeah, good point about "having access to see and change passwords anyway". I guess I didn't think about that. Okay, I withdraw that part of the request. :)
About the other thing. I don't really see a way to have the "new mailbox info" email sent to an existing address of the new user, in the form where I create the new user. The "Edit User" form has the "Send updated account email to:" field, but the "Create User" does not. Maybe it can be added there too?

If you go to Email Messages -> New Mailbox Email and change "Send email?" to "Yes", then on the user creation form you should see the field "Send new mailbox email to" where you can enter an alternate address to notify with the details of the new account.

You're right, the field appears when I turn "Send email?" on.
I feel partially stupid now. ;) I do feel stupid because I could have tested that. I feel not stupid because I fell for a slight discrepancy in form contents here.
I have "Send email?" turned off for both "New Mailbox" and "Updated Mailbox".
The "Edit User" form ALWAYS shows the "Send data to:" field, even if the "Updated Mailbox Email: Send email?" is set to NO.
The "Create User" form shows the "Send data to:" field ONLY if "New Mailbox Email: Send email?" is set to YES.
Therefore I assumed that the appearance of the "Send data to" field is not dependent on the Email switch, and that there simply is none for "Create User". I think it might be better to handle those two cases equally.

Yes, that is rather inconsistent .. I'll fix that (so that the fields don't appear if you have new / updated email turned off)
