I have a feature request for SpamAssassin auto white-list.
As Jamie said in my previous ticket regarding auto white-list, the list contains both "white" and "black" addresses, so I decided to clear a few customer white-lists with the command:
"spamassassin -R /home/DOMAIN/homes/USER/.spamassassin"
The white-list for this user contained 50866 addresses!!!!
And when clearing a few other white-list they all had 15000-50000 addresses each!!
I don't know if it affects the efficiency on SpamAssassin but I don't see a need for storing 20-50k (and increasing) addresses in the list.
It would be nice to have a button to empty/clear the whole white-list by host, domian and user. also a "Add address" to white or black-list and "Remove address(one specific)" from auto white-list would be nice!
And/or maybe a option to schedule a "clear auto white-list" with a cron job.
I could never imagine that the white-lists had so many addresses in them. And many of the stored addresses are old and just a fake spam sender address that often is used just once. So I think this would be a good thing clearing up the white-lists from time to time just as easily as everything else in Virtualmin/Webmin.
The button/buttons could be in "Virtualmin - Server Configuration - Spam and Virus Delivery" and/or in Usermin.
