Auto add A record for Apache Alias on second domain

Is it possible to create a domain alias under a second domain that automatically gets an A record added to the second zones config. The second zone has been manually added on the Virtualmin server using webmin.

Eg: New virtual server is new.tld with alias as new.existing.tld

Note: I already have Virtualmin setup to add the alias directive to the server's apache config (Edit Server Template > Virtual Server template Details > Automatically create alias domain), which it is doing, but would like the DNS update automated.
