The solaris installer stopped working.
Blastwave seems to be abandoned. Host/DNS references in the installer are unresolved.
Any idea to fix this?
Any Roadmap?
There is OpenCSW as a fork.
Or other Stacks like PKGSRC, used by Joyent.
With Solaris 11, OpenIndiana there is a changed packaging interface IPS.

You're right, it appears that blastwave's download site is down :-(
There is a plan to move towards Pkgsrc, as seen on SmartOS / Joyent systems .. but it will take a fair bit of work.
I will look into migration to OpenCSW instead, as that seems like the simplest path. I have updated the installer to use OpenCWS's pkgutil package instead, but haven't tested it yet. You might want to try re-downloading and re-running the installer, and see how that goes?

Thank You.
OpenCSW could be a first and easy step. Same concept, almost same package content. just some different details.
If needed, I would like to offer you help and assistance to (beta)-test everything related to new/different software stacks on Solaris 10/11 and OpenIndiana.
I will try the new installer tomorrow and give you some status update.
Bye.
