https on one virtual server

We have a client that want to set up their server to work with https. When you put it in now with their domain name, the first site on our virtual server list comes up. Is there a way to set that up so the clients site comes up. They don't have a signed cert yet but we will be getting one for them next week. We just want the site to at least come up until then.

Have you tried enabling SSL for that domain? You can do this at Edit Virtual Server -> Enabled features.

I get this message:

The following potential problems were detected with the modification of this virtual server :

SSL is being enabled for more than one domain on the IP address 63.142.200.172. Apache on your system supports SNI, which will allow modern browsers to get the correct certificate in this situation. However, older browsers may see the first certificate for the IP, which is only valid for : *.methowbluesky.com

Are you sure you want to continue?

The other site is for a bank and so I'm wondering if we can have both of them work at the same time.

So do you have another website on the same system with SSL active already? If so, you generally can't run SSL for two domains on the same IP ..

I do have another one. I'll see if I can turn the one off as it might not be needed and turn the other one on. that should work shouldn't it?

Yup! You should be able to disable the SSL Website feature of your current domain, then enable it for a new domain.

That worked.
Thanks for the help. Jeff
