Hi,
I have 2 issues, but think they are both "htusers" related.
1) When I create a Protected Directory, Virtualmin/Webmin creates an "htusers" file (should be ".htpasswd")
2) The "htusers" file is created in the protected folder, along with ".htaccess" (it would be better to put the ".htpasswd" in the $DOM/etc folder, called .htpasswd-realmname)
(the reason I suggest the /etc/ folder is because that is what happened when I imported my Plesk domains... all the .htpasswd files were in the /etc/ folder, and I LOVED that!!!!!)

1) Yes, that's a bug .. it should use the same file as Webmin does in the "Protected Web Directories" module, which is
.htpasswd
. I'll fix that.2) This isn't really a problem, as the
.htaccess
file contains aFiles
block that denies access to thehtusers
file.Submitted by Issues on Fri, 09/21/2012 - 17:46 Comment #2
