Setting up a Direct Connection to the Database

I have a program on my Windows System, that needs Direct Connection to my Database on my Linus Server. I have tried everything, but can't get it to work. What do I need to do to allow a Direct Connection to the Database from my Windows System?

OK I answered my own question, I added my local IP address to the Host access file, and it now works.

We're glad you got it working!

If you run into any problems, also make sure that you add your local IP to the "Remote Host" section in Edit Databases -> Remote Hosts.
