Is there a way to restore an individual mailbox from a backup? A customer's inbox disappeared and I have 1000 boxes on the domain so I just want to restore the one box.

Howdy -- there's unfortunately no way to selectively restore files from the backup within Virtualmin.
One thing you could do is untar your backup into a temp directory, and then manually copy that user's Maildir folder from the backup into their home directory.
