It would be useful if the Citrix Xen VM templates had XenServer Tools pre-installed. The tools are required for things like live migration, soft shutdown/restart, and gathering performance metrics within XenCenter.

Thanks for the suggestion .. I will include these next time I do a Citrix Xen image refresh.
Till then, you could create your own template system from one of our images, install the XenServer tools, image the system and then use the resulting image to create additional VMs.
