Looks like Fedora 17 is getting rid of iptables.

The services iptables, iptables-ipv6 and ebtables will be replaced by firewalld.
Just a feature request for webmin to support firewalld.

That's a pity, as I put a lot of work into that IPtables module :-(
Will they not ship an iptables package at all?

I think they will, but not as default. Like systemd (you can still install sysv init I think).
Not sure whether it is petty, the new firewalld is supposed to be much better.
