Performing a bulk restore of databases wipe every unix account that was not associated with a virtual server. We're running Virtualmin 3.89 and were doing a bulk restore of virtual servers to a new server. We did not restore any Virtualmin settings and we confirmed that Reallocate UIDS and GID option was checked.

How did you do this restore exactly?
A Virtualmin restore shouldn't touch users not associated with a domain being restored ..

We performed a backup of each virtual server to it's on file and then copied these files over to our new server. On the new server we used the Restore Virtual Servers page https://server.server:10000/virtual-server/restore_form.cgi and pointed it to the local folder that contained all of the server files.

Ok, that seems reasonable ..
So which Unix accounts got deleted ... system users like
nobody
, or other accounts? And what GID did these other accounts have?
