VPS Quota Issue

I have installed wemin and virtualmin module on a CentOS VPS. I have executed a command "mount --bind /var/www /home" for avoiding Suexec error. Now when I recheck configuration with virtualmin, it shows everything is fine. But when I try to create a virtual server with virtualmin then I get this error:

"Failed to create virtual server : setquota: Mountpoint (or device) /home not found. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota"

I cant find a way to resolve this issue. I need your help extremely for solving this quota issue.

Howdy -- well, normally we'd suggest using /home for your websites, rather than using /var/www. I think it's getting confused about seeing /home on a mountpoint the way you have things setup there.

Out of curiosity though, what does the command "mount" output on your system?

Did you use the install.sh script to perform your Virtualmin installation?

The error you're getting can occur if you aren't using the Virtualmin updated version of Apache... normally, the install.sh script would install that for you.

If you didn't install with the install.sh, I'd recommend downloading that using the Download link above, and performing your Virtualmin installation with it.

You should then be able to run your websites out of /home.

If things still aren't working -- we've found that quotas often won't work with OpenVZ, you may need to disable quotas altogether. You can do that in System Settings -> Virtualmin Config -> Set quotas for domain and mail users -- you can change that to "No".

However, if you're still having problems after that -- the area here is for Virtualmin Pro users. If you're using Virtualmin GPL, you'll want to use the forums for obtaining support. You can find those using the Forums link above.

We do monitor those, along with lots of other wonderful folks. Thanks!
