I entered this earlier as " FS#3353 - Message: Failed to save owner limits:Cannot write to directory":
"I get this message when editing owner limits for a virtual server. I am logged in as root, and when I click the 'return to previous page' link from the page that displays this error, it all my changes appear on the page, so I do not understand what (if anything) virtualmin failed to save or write."
I assigned it Low severity because it appeared the edits were registering with the system nonetheless.
I have since discovered that the changes only appear registered to root. When I log in as the administrator of the server I was trying to edit, the server does not have any of the features that I tried to add, features which look like they have been added to that server when I am logged in as root.
If I cannot modify the owner limits after I create a virtual server, this is a serious bug.
