Hi there,
I created a new xen instance and selected to have Pv-Grub load the kernel on the VM. I created the VM and all seemed fine.
However, now I look in the /etc/ folder of the server and I do not see a grub/ folder.
I am confused. Did Pv-Grub not get installed? Or am I suppose to take additional steps to completely configure it?
If it did not get installed, can it be installed post-installation?
Thank you.

The grub files are in /boot/grub on the VM though, not /etc .

I see it now!
OK, well, not sure how I missed it, but maybe it merits updating the documentation to specify that path. If it's there and I missed it, sorry...
Anyhow, thanks so much!! Pablo

Great! You generally don't need to worry about the grub path much, as cloudmin knows where to look for it.

Jamie,
A follow up question. I see in the grub.conf file that all kernels available are xen kernels. Is this a strict requirement? That is, can it be a regular kernel as distributed by CentOS?
Thank you.

Not unless the VM is booted in hvm mode, which it isn't easy to switch to for an existing VM (and makes it slower).
