The configuration check complains about "The system does not use init.d-style boot actions". What can I do? Virtualmin worked like a charm until I upgraded to 3.87pro...

Is that the exact error message you are seeing? I don't see any place in Virtualmin where it is generated..
Also, which page are you seeing this on?

Yes, that's the exact error. I get the following message after logging in: "Virtualmin's configuration has not been checked since it was last updated. Click the button below to verify it now." Then I click this button and after some checks, this error occurs... I attached a screenshot. I even don't know why I have to re-check the config. I didn't change anything, except upgrading virtualmin to the newest release!

Ok, I see the cause of this now .. it is in the "Virtualmin Bootup Actions" plugin, not the core Virtualmin module.
I have a fix for it , but it won't be released right away. However, I can send you a pre-release version of the fix now if you like?

Thank you! I don't need the fix right now, because the system works normally, except the message to re-check the config. I can simply ignore that.
