web pages do not show anything and appear blank

Hello, First I am a newbie when it comes to this and I am just learning. I have installed virtaulmin on centos 5.3 with the isntall.sh. Everything installed with no issues at all. I created a virtual server and mysql db and loaded WP files into the new virtual sites public_html folder. All the pages were there and the normal wp site was good to go. I then uploaded a new theme and tried to activate it and now I am left with a blank pages in the admin and on the front end. I have searched and search and I think it is a php permission issue but I am not sure. I also had this same issue with just webmin isntalled. I would like someone to help me figure this out and explain how to correct it. You tell me what you need and I will give it to you. Again I am new to all of this so be kind.

Howdy -- we certainly understand that everyone is new to this at some point :-)

My recommendation would be to look in the error logs for that Virtual Server, in $HOME/logs/error_log. There might be additional information in there regarding what the problem is. When things are going wrong, the error logs can be of great assistance in tracking down the problem.

You may also want to verify that all the files in your public_html folder are owned by your Virtual Server owner. You can do that from within your FTP client, using the Webmin file manager, or by logging into your server over SSH.

However, the support area here is for Virtualmin Pro customers... for folks using Virtualmin GPL, you'd want to obtain help from the wonderful folks in the forums, using the "Forums" link above. We monitor those as well.

So, hopefully viewing the file permissions and/or error logs point you in the right direction! If not, feel free to open up a new forum thread, and include any error messages that you're seeing. Thanks!
