phpSurveyor was changed to LimeSurvey and the script installers were replaced in Virtualmin. Virtualmin offered to upgrade my existing phpSurveyor installation to the current version, which I did. Now, it gives me an error that basically says my database no longer exists and I need to create a new one.
According to their online docs, "upgrading from any previous version (prior to 1.45) is NOT possible"
http://docs.limesurvey.org/tiki-index.php?page=Upgrading+from+a+previous...
They offer some workarounds, but now I am stuck with a mess that I have to clean up somehow. Fortunately, this is not a critical application for us right now, but I would suggest making this process a little smoother for other users who might run into this problem. In particular, I would suggest making LimeSurvey a completely separate script installer, so that it does not offer to upgrade existing phpSurveyor installations. I would also suggest putting phpSurveyor back as a valid script so existing databases can be accessed and then exported to LimeSurvey as needed.
