Hello,
I thin cloudmin need one more System Status for Virtual Systems.
Following setup:
VM 1: Firewall Xen with two interfaces, one interface for public internet and one for privat networking. VM 2: Behin the Firewall in public network
The Cloudmin Master can only check the status of VM 1. VM 2 get the status Ping failed (in Red). This indicates an error, but the System is definitely available.
Maybe you should check whether the VM is running and the status "running" will be shown in Cloudmin.
Best regards, Patrick

The "ping failed" message means that cloudmin detected the vm as running, but could not ssh to or ping it. If the vm was totally down, the status would be "down" instead.

Sure, this is okay. But for our customer with an privat network "ping failed" would indicate an problem. But there is no problem. Maybe you can add an option "privat network - no ping test" in virtual maschine options. And if this option is selected, the VM status is "Running" if the vm is available.

Fair enough .. in the next Cloudmin release, you will be able to disable pinging completely at Edit System -> Authentication Options.
