cloudmin services client (gpl)

when connecting a virtualmn instance to the master system the following error is produced:

Checking login to services host 192.168.128.99 ..
.. check failed : Invalid response format : Can't locate object method "features" via package "does" (perhaps you forgot to load "does"?) at (eval 68) line 1

That's an unusual error ..

On the master system, what gets logged to /var/webmin/miniserv.log and miniserv.error when you try connecting from a client?

nothing in the miniserv.error

these lines are what i think are relevant in miniserv.log:

192.168.128.50 - root [05/May/2011:10:10:21 +0100] "GET /server-manager/remote.cgi?program=list%2Dprovision%2Dfeatures&multiline=&perl= HTTP/1.0" 200 54
192.168.128.196 - root [05/May/2011:10:10:21 +0100] "GET /servers/link.cgi/1303467228123180/virtual-server/save_provision.cgi?provision_server=192.168.128.99&provision_port=10000&provision_ssl=1&provision_user=root&provision_pass=123456789&provision_dns=1 HTTP/1.1" 200 1481

What output do you get if you visit the URL :

https://yourcloudminsystem:10000/server-manager/remote.cgi?program=list%2Dprovision%2Dfeatures&multiline=&perl=

in your browser?

This:

https://192.168.128.99:10000/server-manager/remote.cgi?program=list-provision-features&multiline=&perl=

outputs:

Remote program list-provision-features does not exist

in the browser

Does the master system have the new Cloudmin Services plugin installed?

How do I find that out?:

If you don't know, then the answer is no :-)

Cloudmin Services is a new product that is currently in the alpha-testing phase. Unless it is installed, you can't use the "Cloudmin Services Client" feature..

Aha!

Well, I suppose there you have a bit of blind alpha testing :)

can I perhaps get a link to the alpha please?
