I'm trying to make the alpha Cloudmin provisioning work. I am confused by the documentation listed for it
The documentation for setting up a client indicates that you should put in the cloudmin master host address. The actual page for this implies that it should be the address of the provisioning host itself, not the master.
In any case, I can't get this to work by entering either, since they both fail -- for example, if I try to set it to use one of my other hosts for DNS provisioning - I get the following:
Checking login to services host shared2.cloudmin.cruiskeenconsulting.com .. .. check failed : HTTP/1.0 401 Unauthorized
Now perhaps this is a misunderstanding on my part as to what login account should be being used here -- I'm trying to use the root account. The docs say Enter the login and password of the system owner account that has been created for this provisioning client. --- In this case I had assumed this would be root?
So -- which system should be entered here? The master or the provisioning host? And could you clarify the account/password issue?

You need to enter the address of the Cloudmin master system, and the port (usually 10000).
Also, for the login and password you have to enter a system owner account that has been created on the master, as documented at http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/provisioning/owners
Does that help?

That helps --- got it running, at least for some testing purposes. Thanks again.
