Fresh Server Fresh Installation fc6 issues

On a fresh install fedora core 6 after 2 yum updates, the virtualmin install.sh program ran clean, then another yum update for good measure.

When I ran https://ipaddress:10000

First I received this error:

1) The BIND DNS server version 8 or 9 does not appear to be installed on your system, or has not yet been set up properly in Webmin's BIND DNS Server module. If your system does not use BIND, it should be disabled in Virtualmin's module configuration page.

---SO I goto bind and it asks me to choose from one of the 3 choices to automagically configure bind. I choose new server, not internally only, nor webmin old.

I re-run Virtualmin->System Settings->Recheck Config

and it complains about BIND again and asks me to put 127.0.0.1 as one of the dns servers (into resolve.conf no-less).

--SO I do then I start bind and ...

I re-run Virtualmin->System Settings->Recheck Config

This time it gives me this error:

2) The System and Server Status module is installed, but is not set up to check servers on a regular schedule. This should be enabled on its Scheduled Monitoring page.

--SO I change Scheduled checking enabled? to YES and click
fill in my email address and click save

NO GO--- It asks for an offset.

After some google-ing I find 0 should be the offset.

--SO I put zero (0) in the offset and click save.

I re-run Virtualmin->System Settings->Recheck Config

This time it gives me this error:

3) Shell /bin/false for FTP users is not included in /etc/shells, which may prevent FTP access.

--SO I do a "locate false" and find it in where it should be
and then vi the /etc/shells file and insert it.

I re-run Virtualmin->System Settings->Recheck Config

AND FINALLY it appears everything is good...

until I try a restore... But that is for another bug issue.

As I said before I do try and fix my own issues, but this is the second time around trying to get virtualmin pro to install clean the first time.

Other than Virtualmin never running right the first time out of the box, IT IS AWESOME!!!

Once little bugs like these are fixed you guys should blow away cpanel!
