Hi,
I've upgraded to Debian 6.0 and now virtualmin doesn't detect the bind9. The directory name is bind8 and the location of pid file changed.
It's now at /var/run/named/named.pid
Thanks.

Thanks for pointing this out - the 1.540 Webmin release will have support for Debian 6.0, but until then you can configure Webmin to use the correct PID file location as follows :
/var/run/named/named.pid

I've edited the config in bind8 directory manually and it worked after a collectinfo refresh. Don't forget to change bind8 directory to bind9.
Thank you for all of your hard work.

Where did you need to change bind8 and bind9 exactly?
Or are you referring to the /etc/webmin/bind8 directory? If so, that module supports both versions 8 and 9 ..

Hi,
Yes.. I'm talking about /etc/webmin/bind8. I know it support both versions, but it won't be better to change the directory in the next upgrade?

It isn't really possible to rename an existing module in Webmin .. and not necessary anyway.
