VM backup path : add an optional command before backup ?

Here's the situation :

We want to schedule a weekly backup of all our VMs.

We know we have SSH and FTP options, but we would like to add a command to mount a network filesystem BEFORE the backup when using a local directory path, and possibly a command to unmount that filesystem AFTER the backup, because we don't want that network filesystem to be mounted permanently.

Of course, the backup shouldn't occur in the case of a mount command failure (to avoid the risk of filling up a partition).

Do you think that could be implemented in Cloudmin, in a not-too-far future ?
