Hey
I've noticed that Virtualmin does not support wildcard domains (yet).
This is probably due to the order of processing of vhosts. Wildcard vhosts for a given domain can't be processed before specific vhosts, or else, the specific vhosts will never apply.
Given the latest updates, and the fact that Webmin does support wildcard domains in Apache and Bind, i'm figuring that this will be a new upcoming feature, in the works.
That correct? How long till a release that supports wildcard domains? Thanks, awesome work. Webmin/Virtualmin/etc are great companions to any Drupal shop.

nevermind, i found out that this feature is already implemented. http://www.virtualmin.com/node/16494
perhaps a comment should be added when a user tries to add a wildcard host, explaining where to go to setup this feature.

Yes, the correct way to create a wildcard domain is to create it without the * , then enable sub-domain matching on the Website Options page.
I will add a more useful error message about this in future..
