Adding libvirt KVM instances on LVM

Hello,

I'm installing a newlly acquired Cloudmin Pro on a CentOS 5.5 KVM host. 2 VM's were already created, and ran over LVM.

The plan is to use Cloudmin to migrate and manage virtual domains on those VM's

When I add the KVM host, I ask cloudmin to search existing KVM VM's and add them. But as an answer, I get thi message (also when I try to manually add KVM instances) :

"Failed to add system : Primary disk image /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 for KVM instance is in the format , but only the raw format is supported by Cloudmin".

From that, I guess Cloudmin maps raw images files on LVM volumes, and cannot deal with filesystems on LVM.

Am I right ? Is it a Cloudmin limitation ? Is there a way to bypass this problem ?

Thanks for your quick answer

This is actually a bug in cloudmin 4.8, which will be fixed in the 4.9 release. It should be able to add KVM instances on LVM, but fails to check the disk format properly .. \

OK, we'll wait for the next update.

Thanks anyay !

Regards.
