Yesterday i add an IPv6 IP to an existing virtual server (Dual-Stack)...
Virtualmin adds the IPv6 address to the top-level Server... Adds the AAAA Records for top-level server und subservers... But it doesn't add the IPv6 Adress to the subservers.
So in any case i try to access a subserver via my webbrowser i will be redirected to the default server of the machine :(

Did you try enabling IPv6 for the sub-servers too? Because v6 addresses are so plentiful, Virtualmin will assign a different address for each virtual server.

I didn't try this... But the problem is, that Virtualmin will create an AAAA record even there is no IPv6 address assigned to the subserver.
The AAAA record should only be created if the subserver has an IPv6 address.

Ah, maybe the bug is different to what I originally thought.
What AAAA addresses are you seeing added exactly?

My bug report was somewhat confusing. Sorry for that.
I added the IPv6 address to the top level domain and Virtualmin made a copy of all (55 entries) existing A Records. All new AAAA records (55 entries) pointing to the IPv6 address of the top level server.

One more information:
If i add a IPv6 address to a sub-server. The AAAA record won't be updated. Virtualmin adds a now record with the new IPv6 address. I have to delete the wrong entries manually :(

Ok, I see what you mean now ..and I see the bug that is causing this. Will fix it in the next Virtualmin release (3.82)
