Hi
I went to Webmin> Software Package Updates> Only new> and found there is a webmin-snort package there and decided to load it but got the message below. Is there a problem with this package or is it no longer available?
Building complete list of updates ..
Now installing webmin-snort ..
Installing package(s) with command apt-get -y install webmin-snort ..
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
Package webmin-snort is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
webmin
E: Package webmin-snort has no installation candidate
.. install failed!
No packages were installed. Check the messages above for the cause of the error.
Thanks
Allan

That webmin-snort package isn't one that we created, but an old module package created by Debian.
You should ignore it, and not try to install it .. and perhaps ask debian why this is still in their repos.
