Howdy -- the version of MySQL being shipped with CentOS 5 is mysql-5.0.77-4.el5_4.2.
Are you hoping to use an older MySQL version? As that older version does have several security issues in it, I'd highly recommend against using it.
I'd be a bit surprised if an application could only work with 5.0.45 and not the newer 5.0.77, as the difference between the two is pretty subtle.
If you really need an older version of MySQL that contains security vulnerabilities, it won't be available on any of the official CentOS sites, though various sources do show up if you search Google for "mysql-5.0.45-7.el5.i386.rpm".
Again though, I highly recommend against using that older version, that's an avenue likely to just cause trouble :-)
