Hi Folks, I know you're working hard on things. We're in the 7th week after Ubuntu 10.04 LTS has been released. We're waiting to hear from you about the status of availability of VirtualMin support for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, some indication so that we know if we need to provision servers this week, or in a month.
Check out this thread, others are in more need than me of an update https://www.virtualmin.com/node/13787#comment-63834

Ok. I don't want to add pressure on you guys, but is it possible to have a status update? I have 3 servers to install in July and I really want them on ubuntu 10.
Our initial intention has been to purchase a license of virtualmin for each server, but the silence surrounding support and progress for ubuntu 10 is starting to make us reconsider our options.
Please tell me we're wrong and that the support for ubuntu 10 is just around the corner. Most of us are programmers, so we understand that it's not easy to put dates on releases, or support for a new OS, but we'd love to hear back from you.

I try not to comment on release dates, since they always slip. But, I'm running a test install now, which, if nothing goes wrong, means that Ubuntu 10.04 support is "done". It'll probably be another two or three weeks before it is reliable, since we'll probably get tickets about edge cases once it's released. I suspect I'll be announcing support within the next hour or two.
It will definitely be well-supported and reasonably well-tested by July.

Hi Joe,
Happy to hear (read) it's on it's way. I have a VM ready for install. I'm happy to do trial migration of a few unimportant sites to test it and post you some feedback/error/success. I plan to promote the sites as live and continue stability testing.
Looking forward reading your announcement later today, hopefully.
Cheers, Pierre

Thanks Joe for the update. July would be great for us, although I know things can change if you hit some bumps. I have a couple of big ticket websites waiting for ubuntu 10 in the pipeline. Can't wait for the announcement too.

Hi,
It comes to GradeA for Pro but not for GPL. The difference between pro and gpl isn't only customer support ?
