Hi,
is there a specific process that we need to follow in order to use the Visrtualmin install script for Magento and to use the Magento sample data. Haven't been able to get it to work so far ... the Magento sample data is weird in that it's supposed to be installed first ... then the program ... but this doesn't seem to work with the Vmin install script. Is there a modified script that is know to work with the Magento sample data install?
Thanks
Damien

Because Magento sample data needs to be installed before Magento itself, there is no easy way to do this in Virtualmin currently. However, I could add an option to the Magento installer to download and setup the sample data as part of the install process ... would that help?

Yes .. that would be great ... how long do you think it would take to have that option as part of the script?
Thanks

It will be in the next Virtualmin release (version 3.79)

Great ... thanks James. When do you expect 3.79 to be released?

Could be a week or two. But if you like, I could send you an update to the Magento installer now?

Ok, just save the attached file as /etc/webmin/virtual-server/scripts/magento.pl
