I got a client that wants to switch to the xen kernel on a production server. Is there any surprises I should be aware of doing this ?

No, it should be harmless. Most distros have a Xen-capable kernel package .. on Debian it is
xen-linux-system
. All you need to do is apt-get install it, maybe change the default kernel in /boot/grub/menu.lst , then reboot.Submitted by JamieCameron on Wed, 04/14/2010 - 16:20 Comment #2
