"Read Mail" cannot operate on IMAP (SSL) only?

I noticed that the "Read Mail" function on Usermin does not work if IMAP is disabled on Dovecot, even if IMAP (SSL) is enabled.

Error message:
"Failed to connect to localhost:143 : Connection refused"

I do not use IMAP or POP3 on Dovecot. I prefer to use IMAP (SSL) and POP3 (SSL) instead.

Is it possible to make the "Read Mail" function on Usermin work with IMAP (SSL)?

So if IMAP is not enabled, Read Mail will access IMAP (SSL). If IMAP and IMAP (SSL) are both enabled, it will access IMAP (SSL)?
