Server monitoring and statistics

I've setup 4 Virtualmin installs all setup with a Cloudmin server for monitoring and easy administration. I'm already COMPLETELY in love with this setup but I do have a small complaint. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to get server statics in Cloudmin - I need to have Virtualmin Pro installed on my physical machines correct?

Feature Request: If I'm paying for Cloudmin it would be nice to have some statistics on my servers even if they are running Virtualmin GPL. Paying customers of Cloudmin may not need all the added features of Virtualmin Pro, but I find the statics to be very helpful. Purchasing 4 server licenses would get very pricey for the sole purpose of monitoring.

I think paying Cloudmin customer should have a few more statics available to them even if they are running Virtualmin GPL.

Just a thought.

Actually, you don't need Virtualmin Pro installed .. system stats like CPU load can be collected from any system, even one without Webmin. This process is slightly more efficient with virtualmin installed (as it can collect stats via a cron job on each host, and have cloudmin just download the results), but it still works fine on any system type.

If this isn't working for you, could you let us know which stats are not appearing?

Actually CPU load is the only graph that is populated under System Monitoring > System Statistics Graphs.

After I select another stat to show the from drop down, lets say Memory Used, I still have to click on show before the graph is shown.

Right, I just noticed that bug myself yesterday - the stats are being collected, but unless you click Show again the graph doesn't appear after changing the stat.

I will fix that in the 4.3 Cloudmin release.

Great to hear. Whats your release schedule like?

I plan to release version 4.3 early this week.
