The ClamAV program clamscan does not appear to be working properly

Hello

I have a fresh Opensolaris install and when I run the first "Checking Configuration" have this error message:

SpamAssassin and Procmail are installed and configured for use.

The ClamAV program clamscan does not appear to be working properly : LibClamAV Warning: ************************************************** LibClamAV Warning: *** The virus database is older than 7 days! *** LibClamAV Warning: *** Please update it as soon as possible. *** LibClamAV Warning: ************************************************** ERROR: Can't write to temporary directory

Looks like the real cause of the error is the "Can't write to temporary directory" message. This is a little misleading - what it really means is that your system is low on RAM, and ClamAV uses a lot of RAM.

How much RAM do you have, and can you increase it?
