Missing logs in Webalizer

Hi,

I've just looking for the logs on one virtual server and there a many days that are missing in the log reports in Webaliser from 12/06 to 12/19. Please take a look at the attached file.

Can you please tell me what to do/fix ?

Regards, Marc.

Are there entries for those days in the actual log files for the domain under /var/log/virtualmin ?

Hi, there is no /var/log/virtualmin ...

Marc.

Ok .. how about in the logs directory in each domain's home directory?

this does not impact -all- the domains
here the result of /home/guvirt/logs

Marc.

So if you look at the access_log file for a domain for which the problem happened, does it have lines for the missing dates?

They may be in one of the older logs like access_log.1.gz , which you can list with the zless command.

Hi,

access.log.3 contains the logs until the 12/06. Access.log.2, Access.log.1 are empty files ! acces.log contains log sine the 12/20

Of course Webalizer could not calculate log if the is no log !

The question is: Why thoses log files are empty ?

Marc.

No idea, sorry .. unless they were rotated without Apache being restarted properly.

Do any of your other domains have similarly truncated Apache log files?

works for now ... did not find out what was the problem. It works now that's all I need :-)
