Unless I have messed something up, it seems that there is a new version of ClamAV.
You can blame Eric for me posting this here :o)
Thanks, Tim

Assigning this to Joe, who deals with ClamAV packaging.

Also, could you post the full error message from ClamAV here?
Finally, this isn't really that big a concern .. ClamAV will still work fine.
New version is coming. I need to build and test it.

You can always install from source using the --prefix=/usr in the config setup. Something I do often in CentOS since they don't update on a timely fashion like they should.

But in this case this package came from the Virtualmin guys not CentOS. Normally I have rpmforge repo loaded and I get my clamav from there. RPMforge updates theirs regularly. But since the install of Virtualmin I got with the EC2 installation I'm running now. It has their version as the requisite. I can't remove it to put the other one on.
Also Joe is there an ETA on this? We have been waiting since November.
Thanks, Ben

Compiling from source or installing from another repo makes no difference -- you are wasting time here.
Just compile form source with the prefix switch and it will still work. Or just wait and don't complain after I have given you more then one solution here.
