After FreeBSD fresh install using install script. System information page simply shows "Download failed : HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required" message in the frame.
/var/webmin/miniserv.error shows same error, but also shows Perl module Authen::PAM was not installed. Installed Authen::PAM which resolved the missing Perl module, but System Information page error still exists.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is this the GPL version of Virtualmin, or Pro ?

Ok .. this could be an installer bug.
What is in your /etc/virtualmin-license file? Also, what is the output from :
grep upsource /etc/webmin/webmin/config

Hmm, that looks fine.
What is your system's IP address, so I can check our logs to see what file it is failing to fetch?
Also, can you add the like
error_stack=1
to /etc/webmin/config and then re-post the full error message.Submitted by jkuo on Fri, 10/23/2009 - 13:42 Pro Licensee Comment #6
This test system is 98.109.125.19.
After adding error_stack=1 ...

It looks like you may have an old version of the security-updates module. What does /usr/local/webmin/security-updates/module.info contain ?

Ok, that 3.5 version is old .. you can install the latest with :
cd /tmp
wget "http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/wbm/security-updates-3.7.wbm.gz"
/usr/local/webmin/install-module.pl /tmp/security-updates-3.7.wbm.gz
Let us know if that helps..
