Hi,
This is just a general question.
There are many client management and support software suites that work with the major control panels in the market. I'm wondering which support suite VirtualMin Inc. would recommend to its clients based on field experience and also general knowledge of the product gained from working with other VirtualMin clients.
WHMCS is one product that comes to mind with VirtualMin support. Are there others that I VirtualMin clients should consider?
Thanks, Martin

We don't have much direct experience with any of these products, so it might be best to ask in the forums. But here's what I can say:
AWBS also provides support for Virtualmin, and seem to have been good about updates and such.
WHMCS seems to be the most popular, and is adding Cloudmin support as well, which is awesome if you intend to do any cloud hosting now or in the future. WHMCS seems to have very good customer support, and fair pricing.
There was another product that added support a couple of years ago, but I'm not going to name it as the general consensus was that the company was unresponsive and the software too buggy to be useful.
If you have a favorite, we'd love to hear about it...and more usefully, we'd love for the company or community behind it to hear about Virtualmin. If they get in touch with us, we will help them add Virtualmin support to their product or project. We have a very strong vested interest in there being good billing and support options.
On the support front, I've been working on a Drupal project_issue module that allows submission of tickets using the Virtualmin Support module in Virtualmin. So, if you used Drupal on your website, and project_issue for tickets (which is a reasonably good tracker, and getting better with every revision), you'd be able to allow customers to file tickets directly from within Virtualmin. This should be finished in a beta version in another couple of weeks. Others mentioned a desire to have Ubercart support for creating and managing Virtualmin and Cloudmin accounts...I haven't spent a lot of time with this yet, but I have done quite a bit of Ubercart development now for our own license manager...so I wouldn't rule it out in the next six months or so.
