Migrate Server from Cpanel validation failed

Hi

I am trying to migrate some servers from CPanel (cPanel Build 11.23.4-RELEASE 26138) to Virtualmin (Virtualmin version 3.70 Pro) but keep getting the following error

Validating migration file .. .. validation failed : Not a cPanel tar.gz file : Un-archive command failed : gzip: /root/transfers/backup-7.22.2009_12-13-41_xps.tar.gz: unexpected end of file tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

The backup that fails is approx 72mb.

I have tried doing it 3 times with new backups from CPanel.

It works for some smaller backups

It sounds like there may be a problem with the archive. If you untar the backup manually, do you see any errors or warnings?

Also, is there enough space in /tmp, where I believe Virtualmin uncompresses the file?

I have tried manually to gunzip the file and it gives "unexpected end of file"

Okay, that does sound like something is wrong with the backup file itself.

On the server generating the backups, are you sure you have enough space?
