Dear Developers!
My - not new - problem is that when a new mailbox created and the first spam message arrives into, the spam folder does not auto created.
For the domain there is Server Configuration » Spam and Virus Delivery » Destination for spam emails » Write to standard spam file ~/mail/spam selected.
When I create the spam folder manually the spam messages start to arrive there directly.
The /var/log/procmail.log contains the - procmail: Error while writing to "/home/.../homes/.../mail/spam" - procmail: Lock failure on "/var/spool/mail/.../....lock" lines when it fails.
Please help in this case.
Many thanks and greetings.

That's odd, this works for me. Do your users have a ~/mail directory though?
In a typical Virtualmin install, spam is delivered to a sub-directory under ~/Maildir , so you should select "Write to standard spam Maildir ~/Maildir/.spam/" on the Spam And Virus Delivery page.

Same problem here but with virus dir not being created. Results in virusses being delivered to users! because of error:
procmail: Program failure (1) of "/etc/webmin/virtual-server/clam-wrapper.pl" procmail: Error while writing to "/home/webfauna/homes/marjon/mail/virus"

The next Virtualmin release will resolve this issue by pre-creating the spam and virus directories for new mailboxes ..
